Hi i am having trouble with my driver s door locking mechanism.
Renault grand scenic door lock problem.
Sorry shot this in wide screen but somehow it s been impo.
Taking off the driver door panel to get at the window regulator motor controller and window clip.
Some owners even reported having to take their vehicles back to the service centre multiple times which caused renault to redesign the system on later vehicles.
Renault central locking problem.
Renault central locking is available on all the company s car models.
Pressing a switch or a remote control button locks and unlocks the doors of a car.
Check that the steering column lock disengages.
You have to press the button several times before it will operate the lock.
One of the features on the original renault scénic that caused a ton of issues is the keyless entry system.

I can only get the door to lock by using the dead lock button.
Renault grand scenic privlege dci 106 2010 central locking problem.
All the doors lock and release ok can anyone give me an idea of what the problem is or if i can simply reset the messaging thing.
The lock is a hands free with dead locking.
Renault laguna 2003 car keypad won t open the doors u should have a key that is pulled out of the card side and then there is a lock hidden under the small panel on the pass door handle beside where u pull the door handle should have a pic of key on it sounds like u need a new battery which u will see when u slide outthe key.
I have a key card to oppreat the locks the other locks work like they should but the driver s door sometimes won t the lock makes a buzzing noise and then the door will open.
Any info on this problem on how to fix would be.

Almost all modern cars come equipped with a central locking system.
Also the door won t open using the fob i have to open the door from the passenger side using the handle.
It s a grand scenic 2005ish may not be the 181 i ve had to enter it as it s a 7 seat people carrier and i ve had the door apart and if the electrics to the affected lock are disconnected the others work fine.
This message appeared a week or so ago but as far as i can make out there is nothing wrong with any of the locks.
